The Nation's Favourite Takeaway

Despite requires healthier eating, us Brits remain staunch within our loyalty towards takeaway food. Sure, it might not be an every single day choice, but be it once a week or monthly, treating ourselves to some chippy tea or Chinese meal remains our favourite pastimes.

But which takeaway is our favourite? Shall we be still chip obsessed after 150 years? Possess the major curry centres in cities like Birmingham and Manchester put Indian towards the top of our list? What about pizza or Chinese?

Here would be the top takeaway options:

Chinese - Based on research, Chinese meals are now the nation's favourite takeaway option. Typically the most popular takeaway dishes are apparently Sweet and Sour Pork; Chow Mein and Peking Duck.

Indian - Another hot favourite (see what we should did, there?) may be the curry, with many now great deal of thought the national dish. With dishes like Chicken Tikka Korma, rogan josh and tandoori specialities, it is no surprise that's the case.

Chippy - After 150 many years of being the country's favourite dish, is fish and chips forget about? Of course not. Based on recent studies, 20 percent of all Friday takeaways come from the local chip shop, so there's lots of life yet.

Pizza - With endless topping choices and easy-to-share sizes, pizza remains a well known part of British culture.

Kebab - Come the finish of a night around town, people who traditionally do not eat kebabs find themselves attracted to the nearest takeaway facility to order a doner kebab.

Fast-food - McDonalds, Mcdonalds, KFC and many more besides still thrive using their offerings of (mostly) fried meals.

Are you searching for Birmingham takeaways? If that's the case, it may be time for you to use a Birmingham directory for any little extra help.

LocalMole.co.uk is really a local business directory, that has details of bars in Birmingham, Birmingham plumbers plus much more.
